Friar Tucks is a family business in rural Essex and we provide first class personal service with an excellent choice of catering equipment for hire.

We have spacious facilities in a specially converted barn. You are very welcome to come and view the catering equipment in our large showroom and chat with us about your requirements over a cup of coffee.

Please telephone and make an appointment. We have easy access and there is a large car park.

Friar Tucks are offering standard and quality ranges of china, cutlery and glassware. Everything is washed in an industrial dishwasher or glass washer and is sparkling and clean. You will receive your order wrapped and packed in transport containers.

We also have an extensive selection of linen and other catering equipment. 

Friar Tucks are constantly extending our range so please ask if you require something that is not listed - we may have it, or be able to get it for you.

Here at Friar Tucks Catering Equipment Hire, we plan to make the organisation of your event as easy for you as possible so, if you wish, we will:

  • Deliver and collect your order
  • Lay the tables
  • Do the washing up - just remove any debris from the plates and pack everything back into the containers
